slippers or shoes?

Before leaving for Bulgaria, I thought that the houses and home habits were the same as in Italy. I didn’t think that people in Bulgaria could eat in a different way. I was wrong.

On Sunday evening when I arrived in Stara Zagora, I met my partner and we went home.  As soon as they opened the door, I started to walk around the house with my shoes on without thinking I had walked in the snow. I dirtied the entire floor with my shoes.  On

that moment, I had not noticed it, so I went on walking.  Then we ate sitting on the sofa. I was uncomfortable but the food was good so I was happy.

The day after when we came back home, I finally realized that I had to do the same, to take my shoes off and wear my slippers.  It was very embarrassing because of the trouble  I had caused the night before with the dirty footprints.

Learning Point:  Careful observation doesn’t leave any footprints!!!
